My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising topped the Wednesday night domestic box office charts, according to Deadline.
The anime superhero film brought in $1.7m across 1275 North American theaters. Disney’s Harrison Ford starring Call of the Wild came in second place with $1.5m in domestic Wednesday night receipts.
Heroes Rising is the second film in the My Hero Academia movie series. Its predecessor, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, took in $5.75m across its entire domestic theatrical run.
