Qivana – An MLM Opportunity Rising Star? A Review

All right, all you MLM opportunity seekers who are looking for a network marketing company, or you folks who are in an MLM already but may be looking around for something better, allow me to present Qivana, one of the new kids on the network marketing block. Qivana LLC was created at the end of 2009 and is privately owned by its officers. It is debt free. Qivana brings to market two product lines designed to heal the family by addressing specific systems of the human body. The systems are excellent and will be covered by me in a separate review.

Corporate Goal…

Qivana’s corporate goal is to seek out the best formulators in the nutritional industry, partner with them, and bring to market world class products that have been scientifically validated. In evaluating Qivana, I start with Derek Hall, its CEO. Derek is a veteran corporate exec and an icon in the pharmaceutical/natural products industry. Everywhere Derek Hall has gone, prosperity has followed. For the last 16 years, Derek has lent his considerable skills to companies in the natural products and network marketing industry.

The Team…

There are four other men who make up the corporate team: Craig Johanson, Chief Marketing Officer; Rodney James, Chief Sales Officer; Justin Banner, Chief Strategy Officer; and Devin Glazier, Chief Finance Officer. Each of these individual are well educated and occupy positions consistent with their education and gifting. They work well together and are very experienced in taking a network marketing company from a mere thought around a table to over 500 million dollars in annual sales in a relatively short period of time. Collectively, this makes the team a very unique collection of executives in this industry.

Great Products…

The product lines are outstanding. Qivana has taken great care in selecting its first two lines within the parameters it has set for itself: improving the quality of life for the family through world class supplement products. All products are proprietary and unlike any other products in the worldwide market. Most have patents on them and, in some cases, multiple patents. With all of the products, Qivana possesses the exclusive world wide licensing/marketing rights, giving it a great competitive edge in this area.

Integrity and Excellence…

Qivana is passionate about conducting business with integrity and excellence. Derek is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the The Natural Products Foundation, part of a prominent industry trade organization. The Foundation has partnered with the Federal Trade Commission to be its enforcement arms and legs with policing the dietary supplement industry on truth in advertising in an effort to raise the level of the entire industry.

Here for the Long Haul…

Qivana’s system approach business model is well conceived and unique to the industry. The corporate team has been very intentional in the timing of its product offerings, emphasizing stability and foundational building with each product launch to ensure long term growth.

They’ve Got a Plan!!!

The national and international business plan of Qivana is equally impressive. Its Master IBO’s or, the initial field representatives, are strategically located in the eastern and western United States and are all veteran network marketers and superb businessmen in their own right. The Master IBO’s and the corporate team have a symbiotic relationship which allows the two sides of the company to stay in close communication at all times. This again shows the wisdom of the company.

Internationally, Qivana plans to open one international country per year and is poised to open the Mexican market in October 2010 with its pre-launch, formally opening the market in March 2011. Qivana’s decision to open one market per year as opposed to the shotgun approach to multiple markets is grounded upon its philosophy of doing things with excellence and with a view to the long term. All efforts corporately and with the full strength of the field leadership can be brought to bear focusing on one country at a time.

The Field’s Great…

The field organization is one of the best. As mentioned earlier, the Master IBO’s are all veterans of the network marketing wars and know what works and what doesn’t with traditional network marketing while incorporating the latest technical and internet tools of the trade. The field leadership has made itself available to the rank and file IBO and has emphasized education, both with regard to marketing the Qivana products specifically, but also education about yourself personally.

You Can Make Money…

The compensation plan is competitive and well thought out with an emphasis on keeping it simple. The plan is known as a hybrid binary. Here you will see what I believe will become the trademark of Qivana: teamwork. The plan incentivizes the big players to assist their downline IBO’s to succeed because, in doing so, it helps the big players maximize all aspects of the comp plan and, after a while, begins to feed on itself as their downline IBO’s begin to see success and, in turn, begin to assist their downline.

Not too Young, Not too Old…

Qivana is less than 2 years old. While you should evaluate this aspect in your due diligence, you should understand that, while Qivana is a new company, it is not being run by new people to the industry. Indeed, this management group would compare favorably to any you could find. They are simply doing for themselves what they have done successfully for other companies.

The Next Rising Star…

In conclusion, what you have in Qivana is a company operated by a uniquely qualified management team marketing world class products, a very competitive and lucrative compensation plan, a field organization headed by extremely experienced IBO’s, a culture of teamwork and helping one another, all in an economy conducive to quick growth. Is Qivana the next rising star? By all accounts I think the answer is a resounding “YES!”
